Everyone’s looking for somewhere special for their wedding celebrations – and Wood Farm Barn is very special indeed.
Built in about 1840 and refurbished to a high standard, it stands in peaceful countryside in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Suffolk.
Surrounded by thatched outbuildings, a walled garden, a natural pond teeming with wildlife, an attractive copse and a tree-lined avenue that’s just perfect for photographs, Wood Farm Barn makes a wonderful wedding venue.
The barn can hold a maximum of 115 people. This includes any staff you might require and if you have a marquee. You can decorate the barn however you wish we just ask for no naked flames. There is lots of room for games and dancing, and if you need more space a marquee can be built in the grounds. Please note that we do not supply marquees or caterers.
Our hire charge allows you three days access to the Barn, giving you plenty of time to organise, decorate, fine-tune and prepare for your big day.
Guests will find Wood Farm Barn with ease. Although it’s located in the middle of the Suffolk countryside, with unrestricted views of the Benacre Estate, there is direct access from the A12 at Wrentham and lots of parking space.
The venue is licensed for marriage ceremonies and civil partnership registrations, enabling you to enjoy the whole of your special day in this lovely part of Suffolk. But if you would just like to hold your reception here, we would be delighted to be your hosts. The barn is licensed for both music and alcohol until 1am.
We would be happy to pass on details of suppliers previously used by couples at Wood Farm Barn, such as caterers, florists, marquee erectors, entertainers and photographers. One of our approved bar suppliers should be used, unless by prior agreement.
